Wildwood Park for the Arts is gearing up for its annual Lanterns Festival April 20-22, the popular festival celebrating the first full moon of the lunar new year.

Held over three magical evenings, guests are transported to faraway places and times as they stroll through the lit pathways of Wildwood's gardens. Each year, Lanterns spotlights different cultural destinations and time periods throughout the 105-acre park, with cultural vistas featuring live entertainment, food, drinks, games and more. Up this year are France, Ukraine, Jamaica, China, Scotland, Las Vegas and even a "fairyland forest."

Wildwood’s mission is to provide opportunities for lifelong learning, engage the imagination and celebrate the human spirit through encounters with nature and the arts: visual, performing, literary, horticultural, culinary and more. And Lanterns helps make it all happen.

Festival hours are from 6-10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 2:30-10 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are available online now at $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6-17. Get them here. You can also purchase tickets at the gate at a slightly higher price.
