It's beginning to look (and feel) a lot like Christmas. The Downtown Little Rock Partnership will host Bright the Night, the annual tree lighting ceremony, on Monday, Nov. 25.

The 2019 towering tree will be sourced from right here in The Natural State. After its stint as a source of Christmas cheer, the tree will be re-planted making Bright the Night a sustainable event.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with holiday music from the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra followed by the lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Folks can stick around after for hot chocolate, cookies and the chance to meet Santa.

“Bright the Night is quickly becoming downtown’s favorite yuletide tradition,” says Gabe Holmstrom, Downtown Little Rock Partnership executive director. “Last year, we kicked off the holiday season with thousands of neighbors and friends, and we can’t wait to celebrate with even more this year. We want to thank our partners with the city of Little Rock and Bemis Tree Farm for making it possible once again.”
