The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. Or, you could always head to Murry's Dinner Playhouse to see your favorite elf Buddy in "Elf the Musical" from Nov. 23 through Dec. 31.

Though "Elf" has long since become a Christmas movie staple, here's a plot recap if you're unfamiliar: One of Santa’s elves, Buddy, learns he is not actually an elf — he’s human. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas, with plenty of servings of the four main food groups along the way.

"Elf the Musical" will take the stage Tuesday-Saturday evenings with dinner at 6 p.m., followed by the show at 7:30 p.m. Special Sunday and Wednesday matinees will kick off with lunch at 11 a.m. followed by the show at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday matinees occur only on the first, second and third Wednesdays of each new production. Sunday evening shows are also available, with dinner at 5:30 followed by the curtain opening at 6:45 p.m.
