MISSION

The mission of the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) Foundation is to provide a margin of excellence to CALS, bringing private philanthropy together with taxpayer support to ensure the library delivers the highest quality service to citizens.

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

CALS gives everyone access to art, music, culture, movies and a wealth of knowledge. Tax dollars only pay a portion of all CALS provides our community. Please support your library!

  • $25 puts a book on our shelves in honor or memory of a friend or loved one
  • $100 purchases a downloadable eBook or audiobook
  • $250 supports the Encyclopedia of Arkansas, a free online source of information about the rich history and culture of Arkansas
  • $500 supports the Summer Reading Club, a program helping to prevent the summer slide and encourage a love of reading

Donations to the CALS Foundation help CALS continue to be a vibrant center of activity for central Arkansas, providing environments that invite reading, lifelong learning, community discussion and a thriving community. CALS is proud to be a recognized force for engaging the mind and elevating the quality of life for central Arkansans and visitors.
