Let the spookiness begin!

Yes, we may still be sweltering in the 90-degree September sun, but that doesn't mean we can't fully embrace everything autumn has to offer, including the things that go bump in the night.

Haunted Arkansas Ghost Tours (formerly Haunted Argenta) have taken to the North Little Rock streets for years, diving deep into the history and legends of the area. Led by Paul Prater, an award-winning mind reader and entertainer, and Amy Jones, the walking tours cover everything from the tale of the Argenta Devil to the historical buildings' inhabitants who never left.

This year, Haunted Arkansas is bringing back its popular Boos and Brews tour series to the lineup starting on Oct. 6. On these nights, guests will do the original walking tour, but with a focus on Argenta's more mischievous past. Attendees will spend time inside a handful of haunted locations, enjoy a few drinks, hear stories like the history of "the most evil bar in Argenta" and even sitting in on a seance.

Tours begin this week and run through the first weekend of November. To learn more and to get your tickets now (they go quickly!), visit the Haunted Arkansas website and follow along on Facebook.
