Ying Quartet to Kick Off Chamber Music Society of Little Rock Season

The Chamber Music Society of Little Rock will kick off its 2018-19 season with a concert by award-winning Ying Quartet on Sept. 13 at UA Little Rock’s Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall.

Performing together for three decades, the Ying Quartet has established itself as an ensemble of the highest musical qualifications. The quartet’s 2007 release of the three Tchaikovsky Quartets and the Souvenir de Florence was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Chamber Music Performance category.

During their time in Little Rock, the musicians will work with students from UA Little Rock and Wilbur D. Mills University Studies High School as part of the Chamber Music Society’s mission to foster arts in education.

The Sept. 13 performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Stick around after the concert for complimentary refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and wine. Tickets are available for purchase at the event or online.
