Beat the heat with the new, cleverly scheduled nighttime market. The very first Little Rock Night Market will kick off at the Bernice Garden on Friday, Sept. 7. The free event aims to inspire attendees to shop local and support local businesses.

“We are thrilled to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs and artists to showcase their imagination,” market founder and ReMix Ideas CEO Benito Lubazibwa says. “Food and music bring people together, come and join us Sept. 7 for an evening of fun while supporting local vendors.”

Attendees are encouraged to come hungry because there will be an array of local foods available such as African food, Indian food, vegan food and more. There will also be live music, beverages and local merchants and artisans selling their goods.

The goal of the Little Rock Night Market is to provide a platform for local chefs, startups, artists and entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and strengthen the local economy by introducing customers to local businesses and encouraging them to buy local.

The Little Rock Night Market will begin at 5 p.m. and will occur again on Oct. 5. Anyone interested in getting involved as a vendor can email the Little Rock Night Market team at
