ZenStudio Heights is about to get a major facelift.
The Heights boutique gym announced plans to take over the former Spirted Art gallery next door, which means they’ll be doubling in size. With all that space, ZenStudio is able to offer even more amenities to gymgoers. The most notable addition? A brand new space for childcare. ZenStudio’s childcare will be open to kiddos ages 6 weeks and up and will be available during the mid-morning, afternoon, early evening and Saturday classes.
“Childcare is super exciting because we’ve watched so many of our clients get married and have children over the years, so to be able to offer this service to allow them to continue coming to ZenStudio is really special to me,” says ZenStudio Fitness Owner Camden Hyneman.
She says the existing space will now be exclusively for barre/bounce/yoga and strength classes. That space will be getting some love in the form of new flooring, new barres and a new custom equipment rack on the back wall.
The new space will feature a locker area (the lockers will have USB ports for charging your phone!) and the childcare room. Hyneman says the bulk of the new space will be the new cycling studio with stadium seating, ambient lighting and a state-of-the-art sound system.
“The thing I am most excited about is having two studio spaces,” Hyneman says. “This will allow more room in our barre/bounce/strength/yoga classes, but also allows us the opportunity to have more than one class during peak times. I’m obviously also super excited about having a dedicated cycling studio with the stadium seating so everyone is able to have a clear view of the instructor.”
The expansion will begin in the next few weeks. Hyneman says the new and improved space should be finished in October. Keep tabs on the studio reno by following along on Facebook and Instagram.
