You've never seen Huck Finn quite like this.
The Argenta Community Theater in North Little Rock will soon open its curtains on "Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," with one special night dedicated to serving the community.
On Thursday, July 19, the evening's performance will benefit the Wolfe Street Foundation, an organization that helps people and their families recovering from alcoholism and addiction. Ticket sales will help the nonprofit with everyday operational costs.
Adapted from Mark Twain's iconic novel, "Big River" features all the characters you know and love — Tom Sawyer included — as Huck and Jim set off down the Ohio River on the quest for Jim's freedom, all set to a musical score from country music star Roger Miller.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. For tickets and more information, click here.
