Arkansas Arts Center Set to Celebrate Legacy at Beaux Arts Ball

The Arkansas Arts Center’s Beaux Arts Ball is back with a pop, fizz and a clink — emphasis on the POP!

Set for Thursday, May 3, the biennial bash returns to raise a glass to AAC supporters with a POP!, which stands for Portrait of a Patron. This year they’ll toast Jane McGehee Wilson for her dedication, the Fine Arts Club of Arkansas for its philanthropy and the late Townsend Wolfe, former executive director and chief curator of the AAC, for his lifetime of service.

The evening includes bites and libations, an awards ceremony and dancing to the unique combination of a DJ and the Arkansas Symphony Big Band. All proceeds from the event benefit AAC education and outreach programs.

The POP! Beaux Arts Ball kicks off at 6 p.m. at the AAC, located at 9th and Commerce. For tickets and more information, visit the Arkansas Arts Center website or or call (501) 396-0383.
