Any Arkansan knows that we have it pretty good when it comes to great food. With culinary institutions like Doe's Eat Place, Rhoda's Hot Tamales and Jones Bar-B-Q Diner, it's hard not to be proud of the Natural State's delicious offerings.
To celebrate all things food in Arkansas, the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame announced the 2018 class of winners — and we weren't disappointed. The winners had to compete with 450 nominations for the second class of the hall of fame.
“We are so pleased to see the increasing response from the public in this conversation on Arkansas food and food culture. This is just the beginning of a program that will celebrate this special part of our heritage for years to come,” said Stacy Hurst, director of the Department of Arkansas Heritage.
