Sometimes all you need is a few short words to get your point across, and this time it's pure poetry.
Pig & Swig, a "premium whiskey and pork tasting event" hosted by the Arkansas Times, will return on Friday, June 14, descending on the River Market Pavilions.
Pork, of course, is on the menu in a big way at this mini festival, with some of your favorite local chefs and restaurants offering up their best bites. There's also a full lineup of high-end whiskey for the tasting like Jim Beam Peach, Basil Hayden Dark Rye Bourbon and Knob Creek Double Barreled Rye.
From 6-9 p.m., guests can enjoy the river views as they dine and sip top-notch whiskeys, all while raising funds for Arkansas United, a nonprofit empowering Arkansas immigrants.
