Take heart, summertime aficionados. The season is coming to an end, and with it comes the end of Movies in the Park.

The outdoor movie series at the First Security Amphitheater will bid farewell to 2018 with a screening of "Breaking Legs." Part of the added encore screenings, this family-friendly flick is all about dancing through life.

The showing is free and will begin at dusk, or about 8:15 p.m. All you have to do is head downtown to the amphitheater and watch the magic take place on the big screen, just as nature intended.

Families, pets and picnic baskets (but no glass containers) are all invited to enjoy the movies under the stars. An adult must accompany all children under the age of 18, and an ID is required.

Check out all the upcoming River Market events here or by calling (501) 375-2552. You can also follow Movies in the Park on Facebook and Twitter for updates.

And don't worry, we'll keep you posted on the 2019 lineup next summer.

UPDATE: Tonight's screening has been canceled due to weather.
