During Oct. 11-12, the second annual World Woman Summit will take place at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock. The theme for this year's summit is "Women Fueling the Future," and aims to empower women to accelerate in the workforce by focusing on the future of entrepreneurship, technology, health, finance, food and sustainability.

"We are excited and pleased that so many CEOs and influential leaders have already committed to speak at World Woman Summit 2018," said Rupa Dash, CEO of the World Woman Foundation. "Their experience and leadership will allow for critical insightful discussion at the upcoming conference."

This year, the summit will last two days and is expected to draw hundreds of attendees such as policymakers, consumers, NGOs, media and other women's advocates. Keynote speakers include billionaire entrepreneur Naveen Jain, author Sharon Letcher, food futurist Jack A Bobo and CEO of Empowering a Billion Women by 2020 Ingrid Vanderveldt. Governor Asa Hutchison will deliver the opening remarks.

In addition to the keynote speakers, the World Woman Foundation has announced that the 2018 World Woman Summit honorary chair is Dr. Sybil Jordan Hampton, former president of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation.
