Let’s raise a glass to all the animals that make our trips to the zoo awesome each time we go. And while we’re at it, let’s make sure that glass is full of craft beer.
On Thursday, Sept. 15, the Little Rock Zoo will host Zoo Brew, an event dedicated to celebrating local beer, food and of course, exotic animals. At the Civitan Amphitheater and Cafe Africa, guests will have the opportunity to taste dozens of craft brews, which will go perfectly with the multiple food trucks in attendance.
And because it wouldn’t be a true zoo experience without its main attraction, make sure you spend some time in the main entry plaza and get to know a few animals from the educational outreach program. We’ve got our fingers crossed for a penguin visit.
Proceeds from Zoo Brew go to the Arkansas Zoological Foundation.
Tickets are $25 through Aug. 31 and then bump up to $30. You can also purchase tickets at the door for $35. To get yours, click here.
