One of Little Rock’s favorite traditions will once again grace the Quapaw Quarter. Now in its 55th year, the annual Spring Tour of Homes will feature historic homes and impactful buildings, all opening their doors for the public to enjoy.
The 2019 tour will take place in the MacArthur Park Historic District — Little Rock's oldest historic district. Homes will include the Mills-Davis house, the Bracy-Manning house on 6th Street, the Holtzman-Vinsonhaler house on 9th Street and others.
It all kicks off on Saturday, March 30, with the Spring Tour Preview Party from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Albert Pike ballroom. Guests will be treated to delicious food, a signature cocktail and music by local band Whale Fire.
The Spring Tour of Homes officially begins on May 11, with the first tour of the day beginning at noon. That evening is the breathtaking Candlelight Tour, followed by dinner and a silent auction at the Arkansas Arts Center. On May 12, the day starts with Mother's Day brunch at Historic Curran Hall, followed by another afternoon tour.
Tickets can be purchased on the QQA website. Proceeds from the tour benefit the QQA’s historic preservation programs.
