Each year, the Arkansas Repertory Theatre not only puts on a string of sparkling stage productions, but also an annual fundraiser designed to celebrate more than one artform.

On May 11, ArtWorks will once again offer a night full of art, music, eats and drinks, hosting a stunning lineup of art pieces for the evening's auctions. The work of young Arkansas artists (all under the age of 40) will be up for grabs, from watercolor to photography and everything in between.

The night's libations and hors d’oeuvres will come from a handful of the city's best restaurants including Three Fold, Capers, Copper Grill, Allsopp & Chapple and Atlas Bar.

And although ArtWorks is marking its 31st year, this year holds a special weight after The Rep suspended operations immediately last spring.

"We’re in our second production of the 2019 season right now," said Karen Rudolph, director of marketing and audience engagement for the theater. "The Rep is back, but we’re not out of the woods just yet. We hope the community will come out, eat, drink, have a great time with other art enthusiasts and support The Rep."

It all begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are available online or by calling the box office at (501) 378-0405.
