A rendering of the terrace on the Robinson Center that will overlook the Arkansas River.

We can hardly wait fo the Robinson Center to reopen come November, and now we have even more reason to be excited: A 8,500 SF outdoor terrace has been added to the project.

The terrace was part of the original project plans, but it was removed during contract negotiations because of to budget constraints. But now they've addded it back on — and construction is still set to be done on Oct. 31.

The space will offer amazing views of the Arkansas River and sits on the highest level of the new conference center, which is home to the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra.

The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau is also now booking events for the all-new Robinson Conference Center.

"We are so pleased with the progress of this complex project," LRCVB President and CEO Gretchen Hall said. "Our project team ... [has] continued to provide meticulous attention to detail and countless effort to this project. The all-new Robinson Center is going to be a show-piece for Little Rock and all of Central Arkansas."
