The holiday event season is picking up, and you have a thousand things on your schedule. Whether you’re looking for the perfect drink to serve at your own festive get-together or you just need to take a moment for yourself and recoup, we’re sharing three cocktail recipes that will get the job done.

Damson Plum Fizz

A silky and plum-flavored spirit, this gin-based cocktail is smooth and rich – a great cocktail to get the celebration started.
The Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz. Damson gin
- 1/2 oz. lemon juice
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- 1/2 egg white
- couple of dashes of black walnut bitters
- cinnamon stick (garnish)
The Details:
Mix ingredients with ice and shake. Serve in a martini glass garnished with a cinnamon stick.
The McGrew CristO

As the temperature drops, warm up with this delicious, flavorful spiced coffee. A blend of zesty orange and rich coffee, this holiday hand-warmer will bring joy to any celebration.
The Ingredients:
- 3/4 oz. Kahlua
- 3/4 oz. Hiram Walker Triple Sec
- 1 cup hot coffee
- whipped cream
- chocolate shavings
- grated zest of one orange
- sugar
The Details:
Rim a glass coffee mug with sugar. Add liqueurs and fill with hot coffee. Stir. Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings and orange zest.
The Hoelzeman Holiday

This hot cider, equal parts spicy and sweet, will impress all of your holiday guests and make your house smell amazing. Makes four servings.
The Ingredients:
- 12 oz. apple cider
- grated zest of one orange
- 2 cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces
- 4 cinnamon sticks (garnish)
- 4 whole cloves
- 6 oz. Laird’s Applejack
- 2 oz. “whipped” flavored vodka
The Details:
Combine the cider, zest, cinnamon and cloves in a nonreactive saucepan over moderate heat. Bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low, cover the pan and let steep for 20 minutes. Strain, dividing among four mugs. Add 1.5 ounces of the applejack and a 1/2 ounce of the vodka to each mug. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
