No. 17 Mountain Ranch — One of the top-rated public courses in Arkansas (Golf Magazine), Mountain Ranch Golf Club at Fairfield Bay features Edmund Ault’s 6,780-yard layout nestled in the Ozarks. The back nine includes this 440-yard par 4, whose tree-lined fairway and bunker-protected green demand precision.

Get to the greens, everybody. The Hat Club Classic is back.

Now in its seventh year, this local favorite annual golf tournament will take place on Friday, July 13, at the Rebsamen Golf Course in Little Rock.

Players interested in the three-man scramble will take part in the shotgun start at 11:30 p.m. Entry fees include lunch, drinks, range balls, green fees, prizes and more. Registration starts at 10 a.m. with a putt for cash contest. Also returning this year is the post-tourney shootout at 5 p.m., which is limited to 16 teams, but which all Classic competitors are invited to watch.

The best part of the tournament, however, is that it exists to benefit area charities. The Classic has raised thousands of dollars for various nonprofits in the past, but this year's proceeds will go to Project Zero.

Claim your spot in the tourney by registering online, or call John Raymond Pitre at (662) 259-9990 or Eric Elizondo at (501) 772-0789 for details.
