No. 17 Mountain Ranch — One of the top-rated public courses in Arkansas (Golf Magazine), Mountain Ranch Golf Club at Fairfield Bay features Edmund Ault’s 6,780-yard layout nestled in the Ozarks. The back nine includes this 440-yard par 4, whose tree-lined fairway and bunker-protected green demand precision.

Get to the greens, everybody. The Hat Club Classic is back.

Now in its 11th year, this local favorite annual golf tournament will take place on Monday, Aug. 13, at the Chenal Country Club in Little Rock.

The first 30 teams to register will enjoy an early afternoon flight. Entry fees include lunch, beverages, four mulligans, raffle tickets, tee gifts and prizes. Check-in begins at 11 a.m, and players interested in the four-person scramble will take part in the shotgun start at 1 p.m.

The best part of the tournament, however, is that it exists to benefit area charities. The Classic has raised thousands of dollars for various nonprofits in the past, but this year's proceeds will go to Project Zero.

The mission of Project Zero is to diligently and enthusiastically promote adoption through the foster care system with the ultimate goal of finding a forever family for every child who is waiting.

Claim your spot in the tourney by registering online. For more information, email Cameron Fuller at cameron.fuller@simmonsbank.com or Teddy Stewart at tstewart@bbpalaw.com.
