Nothing is better than vegging out on the couch after a huge Thanksgiving feast, watching football through a bleary, tryptophan-induced haze, right?

To help you earn a few more minutes on the couch, Go! Running’s annual Go!bbler Turkey Trot is back and going the virtual route to keep everyone safe on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26.

This event has become a tradition for many central Arkansans with prizes for best costumes, photos with Santa, giveaways and more family fun along your choice of 3-, 4- or 6.5- mile courses. This year participants are invited to choose a traditional distance or their own and head out to their favorite route to run or walk.

And because it's not the Go!bbler without looking the part, the costume contest is back and offering lots of prizes from your favorite Heights businesses. Just make sure to take photos and post them on social.

The best part? This community event always brings in tons of donations for the Arkansas Foodbank, and this year is no different. You can donate non-perishable items Nov. 21-25 at various dropoff locations around town.

For more information on the Go!bbler, costume contest and Foodbank donations, head to Go! Running's website and follow the fun on Facebook and Instagram.
