HarvestFest Halloween Costume Contest with The Rep

Why: One of our favorite festivals and one of our favorite arts institutions are teaming up to bring the spooky, this time with some "Guys and Dolls" flair. More here.

Halloween Spooktacular Concert

Where: Robinson Center

Why: Your favorite spooky season movies wouldn't be the same without music — think: "Jaws," "Beetlejuice," "Ghostbusters," even "Harry Potter" — so come hear them live from the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra alongside dancers and circus performers. More here.

Why: You survived the rocket ship slide, so you've got nothing to fear from a few ghostly games, movies and costume contests for the kiddos. More here.

Día de Muertos

When: Nov. 1, 5-8 p.m.

Why: No, it's not technically Halloween-related, but Dia de Muertos still has a place on this list. The Downtown Little Rock Partnership, CALS and Mexican Consulate of Little Rock are teaming up to host this multicultural celebration with traditional food, crafts, music and customs. This, of course, includes an altar honoring our loved ones who passed before us. More here.
