Piccolo Zoppé Winter Circus Returns to Argenta This Season

A bit of magic is on its way to the north side of the river this season.

Across three weekends, the Piccolo Zoppé Winter Circus will again set up shop underneath the big top soon to appear in the parking lot at the corner of Bishop Lindsey Avenue and Magnolia Street in Argenta.

The traveling Zoppé family has brought lights, laughs and jaw-dropping feats to audiences the world over since 1842. Its popularity with central Arkansas crowds last fall even inspired the troupe to add more performances this year specifically to accommodate larger groups.

Opening night corresponds with Argenta’s annual Northern Lights Holiday Festival and, according to NLR Tourism’s Stephanie Slagle, is part of an “effort to establish North Little Rock as a charming holiday destination” alongside various seasonal shows, concerts, specials and the yearly North Little Rock Elks Christmas Parade.

“What a better time than the holidays to gather your family and start a new tradition with this one-of-a-kind magical European circus that will capture your heart?” Tosca Walther-Zoppé says.

Performances will take place Nov. 23 – Dec. 7. Learn more on the Piccolo Zoppé website, and keep up with the latest neighborhood happenings with NLR Tourism on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
