The Baptist Health Bolo Bash Luncheon was held yesterday at the J.A. Gilbreath Conference Center on the Baptist Health LR campus. Nicole Miller was the guest speaker. She wowed crowds and answered interview questions on stage with emcee Lisa Fischer of B98.5.
She talked about where she gets her inspiration, which can come from movies, magazines, an old photo, certain fabrics, etc. She also said her favorite place to eat in LR is the Flying Fish, where she had crawfish and fried oysters (a girl after our own hearts).
The longtime fashion designer also showed her fabulous spring 2015 line, which was inspired by Rio, during a fashion show. The sublime decor was tropical-themed, and the entree was a shrimp and chicken salad.
Guests were treated to a silent auction, and along with luncheon ticket sales, the event raised more than $200,000 for Baptist’s pre-op area. The event was sponsored by Dillard’s. For more information, visit the Baptist Health Foundation website.
Here’s a look at the event through the eyes of attendees.
And because we just can’t help but love her…
