The Country Club of Little Rock was the setting Tuesday for the launch of a $50 million capital campaign to build the U.S. Marshals Museum in Fort Smith.
Guests — who included Jeff Long, athletic director of the University of Arkansas, Robert Young III, chairman of Arkansas Best Corp. in Fort Smith, Jim Dunn, executive director of the museum, and Jim Johnson of Springdale, who is leading the museum’s development effort — enjoyed dinner prepared and presented by chefs Josef Desimone and Sam Choy. Musical entertainment was provided by country music artist Trace Adkins.
The U.S. Marshals Museum is expected to join the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville as the net nationally prestigious museum to be constructed in Arkansas. To learn more about the museum’s mission click here.
