For the first time since March 2020, runners flooded the streets this weekend for the 2021 Little Rock Marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K races with the theme “Runderland.”
Thousands of runners and supporters took part in all the weekend festivities, and our photographer Mark Wagner caught some of Sunday’s big moments, including Joseph Hoch’s overall marathon win and Searcy’s Tia Stone clinching the women’s title (her fourth!), as well as top half-marathon finishers Cameron Beckett and Little Rock’s Meghan Lewis.
We also caught all the other good stuff like the smiles, the celebrations, the signs and even a cheshire cat or two — just your typical scene at the Little Rock Marathon.
