Paws on the Runway is at Governor’s Mansion Thursday

Get ready for the 6th annual Paws on the Runway, CARE for Animals’ canine fashion show from 6 – 9 p.m. Thursday (March 14) at Arkansas Governor’s Mansion, 1800 Center St., Little Rock.

With a theme of “Man’s Best Friend,” guests will enjoy a glamorous evening with a full bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a live and silent auction.

The highlight will be a canine runway show where dogs, some rescues awaiting adoption and others with their owners, will captivate the audience as they strut their stuff down the runway.

Tickets are $75 for general admission and $100 for limited runway seating. Reservations are limited and tickets will be held at the door.

Proceeds from Paws on the Runway benefit CARE for Animals Inc., a non-profit animal rescue and spay/neuter organization whose purpose is to rescue dogs and cats facing euthanasia from local animal control facilities and to decrease the number of homeless and abandoned animals through aggressive spay/neuter programs.

CARE has rescued more than 3,000 dogs and cats since its inception in 1998 and has provided more than 10,000 free sterilizations for pets from limited income families.

To purchase tickets, call (501) 603-2273 to order with your credit card or mail a check (payable to CARE) to P.O. Box 7604, Little Rock, AR 72217.
