Held at the Governor’s Mansion, Paws on the Runway benefited CARE and featured animals strutting the runway in their most fashionable attire. Themed “Rescue is the New Black,” this year’s event featured dark-colored pets, which typically have lower adoption rates and higher euthanasia rates. Guests also enjoyed food, beverages and auctions.
