Paper, Scissors, Little Rock to Close Its Doors

One of downtown Little Rock’s neatest gift shops, Paper, Scissors, Little Rock, will be closing this month, it was announced Wednesday.

Here is the email notice we received:

My favorite gift shop will be closing this month. (gasp, it was hard for me to write/say it) We have worked really hard. I don’t know how to express my gratitude to the community that has supported the little shop. I’d love for you to stop by and see us this week.  Thank you and you and you!

Much love, Lulu and Macy”

Down the street near Zin Wine Bar at 300 River Market Ave., No. 105, Little Rock, the cute boutique sold a stellar selection of products, all local, including goods from Arkansas and Southern artists.

What’s really cool is that owner Macy Madison opened the shop with just $7,500 through KIVA and the Clinton Global Initiative last summer.

We are sad to see them go. Best of luck on their next venture!
