Stop what you’re doing, Arkansas. It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. We just got word on the first nine stores coming to the Outlets of Little Rock in the Gateway Town Center, for real this time.
Over the past few months, there’s been speculation over building permit applications and what that could mean for the state’s first outlet center. This, however, is the first official announcement from the company itself.
But enough about that. Let’s get to the shops. The first round of stores revealed for the Outlets of Little Rock are:
- J.Crew | crewcuts Factory
- LOFT Outlet
- Rack Room Shoes
- VF Outlet
- TCBY
- Torrid
- Cole Haan
- Girlie Girl Originals
- Skechers
Keep in mind, this is a fraction of the approximately 75 spaces the center contains. If you don’t see your favorite on the list just yet, there are many more exciting announcements to come, so just sit tight.
Oh, but that’s not all. In celebration of the grand opening, the Outlets of Little Rock are hosting a “Beat the Heat. Fall into Savings.” sweepstakes. All you have to do is check the center’s social media accounts (Facebook here, Twitter here and Instagram here) at 10 a.m. each day for instructions on how to win a $1,000 shopping spree.
“We have been looking forward to this for some time – eager to share the news of the amazing retailers that will be part of the Outlets of Little Rock,” Teresa Richards, general manager of Outlets of Little Rock, said in a news release. “There’s no doubt it’s going to be an exciting grand opening weekend, offering Arkansans and tourists a wide variety of shopping opportunities all in one center.”
The 325,000-square-foot center is located near Bass Pro Shops at the intersection of I-30 and I-430 in Little Rock, and is set to open on Oct. 16.
