Now in its third year, Filmland is returning to the capital city and we just got our first look at what’s in store.
The Arkansas Cinema Society (ACS) recently announced Andrew Stanton — the two-time Academy Award-winning writer of Pixar favorites like “Toy Story,” “Finding Nemo” and “WALL-E” — will attend the 2019 film festival to host a Q&A, and he’s bringing some of the movies with him.
Filmland will host a screening of recent blockbuster “Toy Story 4,” as well as two episodes of Netflix smash hit “Stranger Things,” which Stanton directed.
Filmland is scheduled for Aug. 22-25 and will take place across various venues in Little Rock. Individual tickets are not on sale yet, but festival passes are available now.
For more information and to get your pass, visit the ACS website, and follow the fest on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates.
