This month, we’re talking about the hottest colors dominating home décor in and around Little Rock. To get the scoop, we reached out to Lindsey Binz, owner of Lindsey Binz Home Company and this year’s Platinum Service Award winner for best interior designer.
From paint to home accents, Binz shares how to successfully pull off the popular color trends of 2014.

Repose Gray
This cool gray is neutral, relaxing and perfect for bedroom walls. We think it pairs nicely with white linens and accent pieces in radiant orchid — the Pantone color of the year.
Peppercorn
Binz recommends this dark charcoal for lower kitchen cabinets or accent walls. A deeply masculine color, it softens nicely with fuchsia or a yellow-citrine hue, like in this 1940s chair, below.
Dover White
Many designers and homeowners are currently choosing white on walls throughout homes. It’s a great choice for any style, but we love Binz’s suggestion to pair white with pops of color in works of art like this painting by Britt Bass.
Rainwashed
Because it’s soothing and spa-like, Binz tells us this light blue-green shade is popular for bathrooms. It pairs well with dark hardwood floors and light marble. A lovely complementing color Binz suggests for an adjacent room — Believable Buff.
Naval
For the current vintage and painted furniture trend, this rich color is a favorite. Complement with turquoise, green or antique brass accents, like these gorgeous lamps and long striped paraffin candles.
