In March the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors joined Home for Healing, formerly known as The Family House, to celebrate a new name and a new era. The nonprofit is located in a 13,500-square-foot house that offers lodging and services for parents with kids in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and patients receiving cancer treatment and their caregivers.

After canceling its 2020 event, the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Auxiliary is bringing back its popular foodie event with a side of social distance.
Taste & Toast Our Town: ACH Auxiliary a la Carte Restaurant Week will span April 1-11 offering specials and discounts at local restaurants for ticket holders, as well as an online silent auction. Participants include Capers, Fidel & Co., Kemuri, The Root, Local Lime and South on Main.

Dr. Susan Smyth will take over as executive vice chancellor and dean of the College of Medicine at UAMS in June, taking the place of Dr. Christopher Westfall who is retiring from the role after 24 years at UAMS.
