Following Expansion, Nexus Coffee & Creative to Host Grand Re-Opening This Weekend

Exciting things are brewing at downtown’s Nexus Coffee & Creative. The coffee shop has doubled in size after taking over the space next door (previously The Barn Mercantile), making the entire corner space of President Clinton Ave. and Cumberland Street Nexus’ new quarters. The walls have come down and with it, some exciting new changes.

Nexus invites the public to mark the occasion during their grand re-opening on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The day is jam-packed with celebratory goodness including brunch from Crave available from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. There will also be a lineup of live local music featuring Townsend Music and a headlining show from Cosmocean from 7-9 p.m.

With the new expansion also comes more retail space. Nexus now offers local handmade, fair trade and sustainable goods including items from Rolling Hills Pottery, Tomboli Leather, Faire Life, Flying Pig Guitars, Van’s Honey, Ozark Jams and Jellies and more.

Grab some coffee, beer or wine throughout the day and see what’s in store for 2020 at Nexus. For more info, head to Nexus’ Facebook page.
