Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19 and CDC recommendations, the 2020 Soirée Women’s Leadership Symposium has been rescheduled for Friday, Oct. 2. The event will still take place at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Little Rock and feature world-renown designer and entrepreneur Rebecca Minkoff as the keynote speaker.
According to Little Rock Soirée publisher and symposium founder Mandy Richardson, the decision to postpone was made internally a few weeks ago, setting the task of re-securing details before announcing a new date. Organizers are currently in contact with previously scheduled panelists and session facilitators to make sure their availability works with the new date.
“We look forward to a great conference in a post-social distancing world where gathering and growing together will be more impactful than ever,” Richardson said.
The second annual half-day symposium provides professional development for women in the workplace through sessions led by industry experts, entrepreneurs and C-suite executives.
Any forthcoming updates to programming will be announced on the website and through social media. Follow the symposium on Facebook and Instagram for details.
