Grab your bug spray and picnic blankets. Movies in the Park is back!
On Wednesday night, you can follow the story of everyone’s favorite hammer-wielding Norse god in the next piece of the Avengers puzzle, “Thor: Ragnarok.”
The showing is free and begins at sunset, or about 8:30 p.m. All you have to do is head downtown to the First Security Amphitheater and watch the magic take place on the big screen, just as nature intended.

Families, pets and picnic baskets (but no glass containers) are all invited to enjoy the movies under the stars. An adult must accompany all children under the age of 18, and an ID is required.
New this year is the announcement of a rainy day policy. Instead of canceling or rescheduling screenings, events will move into the Farmers Market Pavilion behind River Market Hall if the chance of rain is 50% or higher.
