Movies in the Park Pairs With Chef Shuttle for Final Showing

We know, we know. It’s a bummer that this is the last Movies in the Park showing of the year, but the local favorite is going out with a delicious bang.

On Wednesday night, you can get your Marvel on at the showing of “Captain America: The First Avenger” at the First Security Amphitheater downtown. The showing is free and will begin at dusk, or about 8:15 p.m.

But because that clearly isn’t awesome enough, Chef Shuttle is offering attendees the chance to have their favorite local eats delivered straight to their picnic blankets. That’s right — no running to the car for left behind Pringles, no missed scenes.

“Instead of having to leave the movie to grab your food, let Chef Shuttle deliver it right to you,” said Ryan Herget, president and CEO of Chef Shuttle. “We’re looking forward to kicking off our new partnership with Movies in the Park and serving families from across Little Rock.”

Here’s how it works. All you have to do is go to Chef Shuttle’s website and place your order, entering 400 President Clinton Avenue as the delivery address. Deliveries will be made from 7-9:30 p.m. at the west entrance of the Riverfront Park near the Chef Shuttle flag.

As always, families, pets and picnic baskets (but no glass containers) are all invited to enjoy the movies under the stars. An adult must accompany all children under the age of 18, and an ID is required.
