Mosaic Templars Cultural Center to Host Virtual Holiday Event This Sunday

If you haven’t kicked off the holiday season just yet, this is a great place to start.

The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center will host a virtual holiday experience this Sunday, Dec. 6, starting at 5 p.m. And while the MTCC’s annual open house and Say It Ain’t Say’s sweet potato pie bakeoff are on hold until next year, this event is still full of plenty of sweetness.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to be a part of bringing happiness to families statewide,” says Christina Shutt, MTCC director. “The holidays are meant to bring families together. Even during these difficult times, we will be here for our community, which is our family.”

Guests only have to log on to Facebook Live or YouTube to join that community in a day full of family-friendly music, crafts for the kiddos, cookie decorating demonstrations, a tribute to Robert “Say” McIntosh and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, plus a taste of sweet potato pie, of course. For kids wanting to join in on the arts and crafts, free kits are available for pickup at MTCC and CALS.
