Science doesn’t get much better than this, folks.
Science After Dark is back at the Museum of Discovery, and this time around, there are drinks. Oh yes, science lovers. For this year’s bout of the Museum’s adult-only series, they’re kicking things off with The Science of Mixology.
Delicious, right? It gets better. Guests will able able to get their hands on Stone’s Throw Brewing spirits, a slice of Damgoode Pies pizza and goodies from the cash bar from Juanita’s. And the learning part? Big Orange’s Louis Uzcategui and Forty Two’s Stephen Burrow have a thing or two to teach us all about mixology, as well as behind-the-scenes magic from Rock Town Distillery, the history of prohibition in Arkansas and lots more.
Take note that Science After Dark has switched days and is now on the last Thursday of every month, with the Science of Mixology taking place this Thursday, Jan. 29, from 6-9 p.m.
Tickets are $5 (or free for Museum members) and you must be 21 or older to attend, of course. For more information, check out the Facebook Event page.
