After graduating from Hendrix College, I worked as an accountant at Murphy Oil. It taught me the value of teamwork and collaboration in helping a business to reach new heights and positively impact the communities in which it operates.
ONE PRACTICE I USE TO MAINTAIN MY MENTAL HEALTH
I do my best to start each day with a quiet, reflective time. It helps me reset and have a better mindset going into my day. I’ve also found this helps put problems and concerns in the proper perspective.

People. I love being part of a business that provides good jobs to people who want to help build America. I also love the people I work alongside and want to do all I can to help them succeed.

From an early age, my family instilled in me the priorities of faith, family and friends. I was taught that faith will ground and guide me and that I must give my best each day to my family and friends.
BEST CAREER MOMENT SO FAR
In 2022, I celebrated 20 years at Lexicon. It is a blessing to work with friends who have common values and goals. I have also grown professionally and personally because of the mentorship of many talented and brilliant individuals here.
