Sissy’s Log Cabin is my family’s legacy as well as our livelihood. Much like families working farms together, every member of the Jones family has a personal commitment to the day-to-day success of Sissy’s.
NONPROFIT I WISH MORE PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT
The Children’s Tumor Foundation, which my wife, Dawn Jones, is passionate about supporting. She recently competed in their fundraiser, Dancing With Our Stars, and won first place! This was eye-opening for our family as we learned about their important work.
WHAT KEEPS ME COMING BACK TO MY JOB EVERY DAY
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is the opportunity to work with a dedicated and hardworking team. We are proud of the employees at Sissy’s Log Cabin who go above and beyond to serve their clientele.
BIGGEST CHALLENGES IN MY CAREER:
It’s easy to jump from project to project, but I’m reminded daily of the benefits of staying on task and focusing on what works.
WHAT KEEPS ME MOTIVATED:
My wife and kids inspire me every day, and I deeply enjoy the opportunity Sissy’s gives us to support others in our community making a difference.

How I prepare on Sunday for the week ahead: On Sundays we spend the day together as a family. By spending time together we’re able to recharge our batteries for the week ahead. Sometimes, I’ll play a round of golf.
Favorite Local Dish: My favorite is Heights Taco & Tamale’s house salsa. I’ll easily eat three bowls.
Hobbies: I love golf, grappling, hunting and working out – but they all come second to time with my family and teaching my kids.
