Men on a Mission 2022: Nate Disarro

BEST CAREER MOMENT SO FAR
I’d say starting my business is No. 1, but filming sharks with Shark Week, shooting hoops with the Boston Celtics, sitting in Mary Steenburgen’s house in Los Angeles, working with the Dallas Cowboys or hanging with Scottie Pippen are up there too!

HOW I KNEW THIS WAS MY PASSION
My first experience with film/TV was being in front of the camera as a kid, but once I realized I could combine art, science, technology, business, communication and personal connection into one job, I knew I had found my niche.

BIGGEST CHALLENGES IN MY CAREER
Every project, and every client, is different. I constantly have to challenge my team and myself to think outside the box. We don’t live in a cookie-cutter world which makes every new day and new project a fun challenge.

BEST ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED
Be the string, not the kite. Meaning, allow your team to soar at heights beyond your ability, but remain grounded and provide direction while allowing freedom for each individual to explore new spaces and new heights.

ONE THING I WISH PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT MY COMPANY:
Our company and team have doubled every year of our existence. We work with clients all over the country and create national-level content from right here in Little Rock. The pandemic reiterated that digital content is king!
