What is functional nutrition?
It is a whole systems approach including personalized care based on a medical nutrition model that combines the very best of modern science, clinical wisdom and integrative therapies. I have been trained to identify root causes of diseases in a systematic fashion to restore function and improve outcomes replacing a repetitive medical nutrition therapy protocol for a disease.
How is yours different from other nutrition programs?
I created a collaborative five-step approach that is designed to reconnect a woman back to the fullest expression of who she is. We take a deep dive to balance hormones, nourish thyroid functions and revive metabolism. Together, we will create a crystal-clear, customized food plan (using real food easily obtained at the grocery store) based on her body’s unique needs to reset empowered intentions, reclaim personal needs and renew her health to get back to the best season of life.
Is your practice focused only on food?
Food and nutrition affects every aspect of the body, so I take a whole-body approach to nurture the gut and digestive issues. By healing and building a diverse gut microbiome while uncovering triggers and releasing old beliefs and negative mindsets, we establish self-trust, ascend self-love and radiate self-worth.
What do you do when you are not working?
When I am not working with clients and creating new wholesome, scrumptious recipes in my kitchen, I can be found playing with my son, painting with my daughter, spending time with my handsome husband, practicing yoga, paddle boarding or reading a good book.
“I teach women how to shatter complicity and create impeccable health. It is my mission to help uncover root causes while contributing tools and support healing at the deepest level.”
