Sometimes a good handbag is more than meets the eye, and no one knows that better than Whitby.
The custom luxury handbag line specializing in timeless, versatile pieces will host a fall pop-up shop at clothing boutique Beige in downtown Little Rock this weekend.
What makes Whitby unique, however, is its mission to “support the prevention of exploitation” of girls in varying countries through the power of education. The company donates 15 percent of each purchase to one of five nonprofit partners working in Haiti, Iraq, Thailand and Peru that provides at-risk girls with food, school uniforms, tuition and safety.
Along with getting to shop the newest looks, you’ll also have the chance to speak with founder, CEO and designer Britt Adams at a meet and greet. To sweeten the deal, Beige is also giving away a Whitby Maryamana Clutch.
The Whitby fall pop-up takes place Saturday, Sept. 30 from 5-7 p.m. Come meet Britt Adams and browse her creations to find your new favorite piece. Check out the Facebook event page for details.
