Meet Mind Body Tri, a Virtual Triathlon for Your Mental Health

For anyone finding it hard to balance work, family and the general craziness of 2020, especially when it comes to your physical and mental wellness, you’re not alone.

Enter Mind Body Tri, a different kind of triathlon designed to “exercise the body, calm the mind and kick off the day,” hosted by the Arkansas-based All Sports Productions.

Held on Saturday, Oct. 24, this virtual, non-competitive event encourages participants to join in three activities: a 45-minute livestreamed yoga class, a 5K run or walk and a 15-minute guided meditation.

Mind Body Tri is led by industry professionals and was created out of a need for better mental health surrounding the pandemic.

“This summer, the Mind Body Tri was held on a local level with tremendous success and feedback,” said collaborator Eva Solomon, owner of Epic Races. “Participants overwhelmingly commented that it was a great mental and physical pick-me-up that left them feeling energized.”

Activities kick off at 10 a.m. For more information and to sign up for Mind Body Tri, click here. And follow along on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
