Mark Your Calendars for the Capital Hotel Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Central Arkansans hold a lot of different holiday traditions near and dear to their hearts, but by far one of the biggest fan favorites is the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Capital Hotel in downtown Little Rock on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 5:50 p.m.

A 27-foot tree will light up the decorated lobby with over 10,000 lights. Mr. Claus himself will be in attendance, along with live music, characters from “The Nutcracker” and plenty of hot chocolate and cookies, of course.

“The hotel will be transformed into a magical holiday party,” said Chuck Magill, director of marketing with the Capital Hotel. “It’s the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season and get into the holiday spirit.”

For added merriment, they will also unveil the first ever Capital Hotel ornament. The ornaments are $30 each and will be on sale at the front desk for the whole month.

The ceremony will kick off a full schedule of events running throughout the holiday season. For more information, details on special hotel packages and holiday hours for One Eleven or Capital Bar and Grill, click here.
