The tenth annual Sculpture at the River Market Show and Sale returns to Little Rock this weekend, April 21-23. The River Market Pavilions will have numerous sculptures on display including all types of media, style, subject matter and size.
Kick off the weekend with the Preview Party on April 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the River Market Pavilions. The work of six semi-finalists will be displayed, and attendees will view and vote on their favorite sculpture to select the top three finalists. There will also be live music with food and drinks.
On Saturday, free docent tours of the Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden will begin at 10 a.m. On Sunday, the show resumes with the help of Andina Cafe and Coffee Roastery and a variety of food trucks. The winner of the sculpture contest will be announced at 3 p.m.
The Sculpture at the River Market Show and Sale will be open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday. Any proceeds from the event will fund the purchase of new sculptures for the city of Little Rock and maintenance for sculptures owned by the city.
