After eight months of renovation, the 178-year-old MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History reopened to the public, but first marked the occasion with a VIP reception where guests were invited to sign a floor joist from the Arsenal Building’s original 1840 construction. The $1.55 million project helped preserve the historic structure for future generations.
