Sweet home Little Rock is the place to be this fall.
Lynyrd Skynyrd just announced a stop at the First Security Amphitheater in the River Market on Saturday, Oct. 12, as part of their “The Last of the Street Survivors” farewell tour.
The concert is a joint effort between the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau, Awakening Events/River Concerts, Starr Hill Presents and KKPT The Point 94.1, which is including the concert in ts 25th anniversary celebrations.
“The Point 94.1 is proud to have a legendary band like Lynyrd Skynyrd help us celebrate our 25th birthday,” said Mike Kennedy, KKPT program director. “They are and have always been a top 10 core artist for us and they always put on a great show.”
Black Stone Cherry will join Lynyrd Skynyrd as the band’s opening act.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 9.
