Looking For a Weekend Getaway? Explore the Fayetteville Ale Trail and Sample Arkansas’ Best!

The Fayetteville Visitor’s Bureau launched the Fayetteville Ale Trail back in August 2013, and it is still a great way to spend a weekend getaway in the Ozarks.

The Fayetteville Ale Trail features all-local breweries, with the Ozark Beer Company in Rogers being the latest addition to the trail. The tour lets visitors experience local breweries while learning more about the brew and brewmasters. It has already hosted more than 10,000 visitors in its first year.

Those interested in checking out the Ale Trail can pick up a passport free of charge at the Fayetteville Visitor’s Center, 21 S. Block Ave.

The Fayetteville Ale Trail consists of eight local breweries: Hog Haus Brewing Co., Tanglewood Branch Beer Co., West Mountain Brewing Co., Apple Blossom Brewing Co., Fossil Cove Brewing Co., Core Brewing and Distilling Co., Saddlebock Brewing and Ozark Beer Company.

Northwest Arkansas has seen a sharp rise in craft brewery popularity recently, with breweries such as Fossil Cove and Columbus House Brewery opening up in the past few years. Events like Ales & Tails and the Fayetteville Foam Fest have also added to the lengthy list of brew-related ideas.
